Man Critically Injured In Belleville Pedestrian Accident Along Carlyle Avenue

BELLEVILLE, ILLINOIS (November 18, 2023) – A male pedestrian was critically injured in a Belleville car accident along the 2500 block of Carlyle Avenue.

St. Clair County officials are saying that the accident took place around 5:21 p.m. on Friday. An adult male entered the roadway and tried to cross the street near the Hardee’s when they were hit by a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. He was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. A full investigation into the cause of the Belleville pedestrian collision remains ongoing.
