Investigation Underway After South Side, Chicago Apartment Fire At Building on East 69th Place
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (September 10, 2024) – At least one person was injured in a South Side, Chicago apartment fire at a three-story building on the 1400 block of East 69th Place.
Cook County officials are saying that the fire started around 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Firefighters were called to the scene in order to put out the fire.
One person was taken away from the scene and transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center with injuries. A full investigation into the incident remains ongoing at this time.
