Motorcycle Rider Died In Collision With Pickup Truck In Quincy By 12th Street and Chestnut

QUINCY, ILLINOIS (January 25, 2024) – A motorcyclist has tragically died in a collision with a pickup truck in Quincy by the intersection of 12th Street and Chestnut.

Quincy police officials are saying that the accident took place around 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The motorcyclist was traveling east on Chestnut when they were hit by a pickup truck turning at 12th Street.

Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. But those efforts were not successful and the motorcyclist was later pronounced dead.

A full investigation into the Quincy motorcycle collision remains ongoing at this time.
